VCA Ltd (Vallance Coaching and Assessment) has been supporting the UK Fire & Rescue Service in the field of Assessment & Development for the last 7 years.
Corporate Support Services VCA provides support services to the UK FRS for implementation of the National ADC Toolkit. We continue to provide services to a wide range of UK Fire & Rescue Services, which include;

- Training Assessment Centre Assessors from Watch Managers to Chief Fire Officers, local Councillors and support staff managers.
Having developed a comprehensive understanding of the assessment processes used in the FRS, we are ideally placed to promote best practice and raise standards of performance. We provide individuals with the opportunity to take responsibility for their own development by offering performance improvement and assessment support services. Our priority is to help individuals develop their core personal qualities and maximise their career potential.
Our Team
VCA was founded by Hannah Vallance, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. She started her FRS career in-house, designing and implementing Assessment and Development processes for Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Service, implementing a framework which is still in operation today. Whilst with Strathclyde she worked with a National Forum to regulate assessment procedures in Scotland; VCA now designs the ADC processes for a regional collaboration of Scottish Fire & Rescue Services.
VCA has a dedicated support team to answer queries and manage our on-line processes. We also work with a number of professionally qualified consultants.
